Pradeep ton helps BCC thump JCC

GR Pradeep scored a century and team-mate Raju Gowda produced an all-round show as Bowlers Cricket Club crushed Johnson Cricket Club by 230 runs in the Dell-KSCA Group I, Division V tournament for the Sri JB Mallaradhya Trophy.

Bowlers CC, batting first, posted a mammoth 389 for 50 overs, thanks to a splendid 173 by Pradeep and 91 by Gowda.

Chasing a humongous target, Johnson CC had no choice but go for broke but their batting just fell apart, eventually folding up for a dismal 159 in 38.1 overs. Gowda starred with the ball too, picking up four for 53 while Manjunath (2/17) and Siddesh (2/30) grabbed two apiece.
