The 12th Asian marathon championship will have a total prize money of Rs 45 lakh.
“For the first time, the Asian Marathon Championship will be held here in Pune... This is really a matter of pride for us,” Prahlad Sawant, general secretary of the Pune International marathon said.
The registration process for the event begins on October 28th and the forms will be available online at their website — www.marathonpune.com. Sawant also added that unlike previous years there will be a full-marathon for women and half-marathon for men.
