HDK's people's interaction delayed by seven hours

People who came to meet Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy at his people's interaction program scheduled to begin at 10 am, were still waiting for him in the rain, in long queues till 5 pm. The meeting was delayed by seven hours!

As announced earlier, the CM was supposed to meet people of Ramanagaram district from where he was elected, in the morning and receive their complaints, petitions and appeals.

Villagers of the district queued up at the zilla panchayat premises from 9 am. Most of the people waiting were elderly, sick and differently-abled.

Kumaraswamy who arrived in Ramanagaram at 12 noon, inaugurated various development schemes totally costing nearly Rs 50 crore.

He held a closed-door meeting with people who have given up their lands for the Rajiv Gandhi University campus. Ministers D K Shivakumar and H D Revanna were with him. Reporters were not allowed into the meeting.
