Activists condemn Goa govt

Veera Kannadigara Sene activists staged a dharna in front of deputy commissioner’s office here on Friday condemning the Goa government for razing the houses of Kannadigas on Baina beach.

Kannadigas are being targetted in Goa and number of assault cases are reported. But the State government also remained silent over the issue. It had not been initiating any measure to check such incidents and condemn the act of Goa government. The houses of Kannadigas are being vacated every day in Goa. The life of Kannadigas in Goa is under threat, the said.

They insisted that the State government should pressurise the Goa government immediately to stop such acts.

Organisation founder Amruth Patil Sirnoor, office-bearers Ravi Onti, Dattu Bhasagi, Siddu Kandagal and others were present.
