Mysore: Siddaramaiah, party honchos discuss strategy

JD(S)-Congress coliation coordination committee chairman Siddaramaiah, on Sunday, held a closed door meeting with the party leaders to discuss about the Lok Sabha elections.

Siddaramaiah, who arrived in Mysuru, held discussions with Congress-JD(S) candidate C H Vijayashankar, MLA Tanveer Sait, former MLAs Dr H C Mahadevappa, M K Somashekar, Vasu and others at a private hotel, here.

According to sources, the leaders discussed plans on the election campaign. Later, Siddaramaiah held a meeting with the corporators and other leaders.

Vijayashankar will file his nomination papers on Monday. According to the party sources, Siddaramaiah will accompany Vijayashankar while he files his nomination and will not visit Mandya where JD(S)-Congress coalition candidate Nikhil Kumaraswamy will file the papers to contest from the Mandya Lok Sabha segment.
