Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi has said that names of two former chief ministers have surfaced in the I Monetary Advisory (IMA) multi-crore scam.
Without naming the two former chief ministers, Joshi said it is the responsibility of the two high-profile politicians, to tell the truth to the people and come out clean.
Speaking to media persons in the city on Saturday, Joshi said the government has already ordered a high-level probe into the multi-crore IMA scam. The investigation is going on. However, it is learnt that the IMA director has allegedly named two former chief ministers. As their names have surfaced in this, it is their duty to tell the truth to the people of the State, he added.
He said the investigation should be taken to a logical end as thousands of poor people have invested their hard earned money in the IMA and have lost their money.
