BJP leader Bhupesh Aggarwal allegedly attacked by farmers in Punjab’s Patiala

A stone was thrown at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Bhupesh Aggarwal as he was being assisted by police in Patiala district's Rajpura on July 11. He alleged that the attack was carried out at the behest of the state police. Farmers had gheraoed BJP state general secretary Subhash Sharma’s residence in Rajpura where Aggarwal was attending a meeting yesterday. Heavy security was deployed outside the residence of BJP state general secretary Subhash Sharma in Rajpura after farmers’ gheraoed his residence.
