PT Usha flags security issue in Usha School of Athletics, breaks down during Press Conference in Delhi

Indian Olympic Association president and MP PT Usha broke down in a news conference and alleged encroachment on the land of Usha School of Athletics in Kozhikode. Usha alleged that illegal construction is being done with the knowledge of Panangad Panchayat on the land allotted by the government for Usha School in Kinalur, Kozhikode. She also alleged that after becoming an MP, she is constantly being harassed. Usha tearfully asked for help for the smooth running of the Usha School of Athletics. PT Usha said that she may be forced to move her school of Athletics as the institution is being targeted by encroachers. She also stated a red flag was planted 4-5 years back that was removed after the CM's intervention. “There is girls hostel and we don’t have security there. But they are not allowing us to close the gate. This is our road and our compound. Outsiders should not come and do these things in our compound. There are girls studying there. School should run in a smooth way,” she added.
