Vizhinjam riots: Fisherfolk stage protest demanding withdrawal of cases in Kerala

Fishermen organisations and civil society organisations on January 5 staged a protest in front of the secretariat demanding the withdrawal of cases registered against fishermen for allegedly attacking the Vizhinjam police station. They demanded the government to withdraw the cases against fishermen charged in connection with riots at Vizhinjam on November 26 and November 27, 2022.
