Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, royal scion of Mysuru, visited the Kalaseshwara temple on Wednesday.

He was felicitated by the temple administration committee on the occasion.

He was carried in a procession from Venkataramana Temple to Kalaseshwara Temple. The descendant of the Mysuru royal family tasted the typical Malnad cuisine and had filter coffee prepared by the local people on the occasion.

The royal scion of Mysuru was welcomed with ‘Poornakumbha’ at Kalaseshwara Temple. Cultural troupes added colour to the procession. Yaduveer impressed the devotees with his warm gestures and simple attire. At the temple, he was happy to see the grand chariot donated by his ancestors to the temple.

He recalled that the Mysuru royal family has close affinity to religious shrines in the state. When the devotees of the temple expressed their wish to witness Yaduveer in his royal attire, he said that he would do so when he visited the place the next time, with his family.

MLA M P Kumaraswamy, Temple Management Committee member Harsha and others felicitated Yaduveer on the occasion.
