Gadgets Weekly: Lenovo Tab P11 Pro, Sansui Android smart TVs and more

Popular technology majors such as HMD Global Oy, Lenovo, Sansui, and Panasonic among other launched new smartphones, tablets, and accessories such as earphones and wireless speakers this week (February 7-13).

DH's Gadgets Weekly edition lists the latest prominent personal technology products to keep you abreast of everything that's happening in the world of consumer electronics.

Lenovo Tab P11 Pro
Lenovo Tab P11 Pro sports an ultra-slim chassis with a prominent aluminum-alloy unibody designed to be noticed, and a unique dual-tone finish featuring a keyboard pack that’s made with high-quality fabric

It features 11.5-inch WQXGA (2560x1600) OLED display with 500nits brightness, 100% sRGB, Dolby Vision, support HDR, and Lenovo Digital Pen.

Inside, it houses an 8nm class Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G octa-core processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 256GB. It runs Android 10 OS and comes preloaded with Microsoft Office app, dedicated hotkeys that allow resizable, multi-windows, screenprint, and Google Assistant that offers PC-level productivity anytime, anywhere.

Furthermore, it boasts zero-touch log-in with time-of-flight (ToF) sensors and front cameras (8MP and 8MP) that can enable face unlock. The tablet also ensures added privacy with real-time and automatic background blurring on video calls, using a specialized algorithm in the front sensor, making it an ideal device for working from home.

It comes packed with an 8600mAH battery and Quick Charge 3.0 along with the chip’s new power-efficient architecture, it allows Lenovo Tab P11 Pro to run video playback for 15 hours on a full charge and support USB Type-C Reverse Charging Functions.

Lenovo Tab P11 Pro costs Rs 44,999. As part of the special 30-day launch offer, Tab P11 Pro can be purchased along with the Keyboard Cover (worth INR 10,000) for only Rs 49,999.

Sansui Android smart TVs
Japanese consumer electronics major launched a new line of Android TVs with the starting range of Rs 16,590 in India. They come in multiple screen sizes-- 55-inch UHD TV, 50-inch UHD TV, 43-inch UHD TV, 43-inch FHD TV, 40-inch FHD TV, and 32-inch HD TV.

Sansui’s Android TVs are power-packed with a 4K Ultra HD display combined with Wide Colour Gamut and HDR10 crystal-clear display so that you never have to compromise on the colour quality.

"4K HDR recreates true-to-life images with a balanced contrast, high brightness, and unmatched colour rendering. With bezel-less design and wide viewing angle, the viewing experience becomes truly immersive," the company said.

Sansui's Android TVs come integrated with Dolby Audio and DTS Studio Sound and promises encapsulating stereo system. Also, there is a built-in Chromecast that allows the user to stream content straight from the smartphone onto the TV. With Google Assistant, users can search for movies or TV shows.

TREAD One smart spin bike
Bengaluru-based fitness equipment-maker TREAD launched the new TREAD One, a future-ready smart spin bike.

It comes with a full HD (1920*1080) rotatable LCD TFT screen for viewing fitness content on the move. It comes with a frictionless resistance feature, where-in while working out, users can increase or decrease the resistance (from levels 0 to 100 -- choose as per the convenience) with a variable magnetic adjustment knob.

It has a chain-free, silent Poly-V belt. Users can continue the workout/ride silently without disturbing the personal space of anyone around the bike.

It boasts an 11-kg flywheel attached to a rotating shaft for the purpose of smoothening the flow of power from the motor to the machine. Furthermore, it has dual pedal system, where-in the user can choose between the clip-in pedals or the strapped pedals system.

Also, it comes with an in-built sound system (speakers), earphone jacks, wireless connectivity, and other exciting features, so that the user always stays connected and pumped-up during the workouts.

Furthermore, customers can subscribe to live streaming fitness sessions in beginners, intermediate and advanced levels every day in addition to access to on-demand video-based fitness guides.

Also, it offers a leaderboard to help the user track his/her activity in addition to interaction with fitness experts. TREAD One costs Rs 59,900. First 300 customers who pre-book Tread One can avail free access to content membership worth Rs 54,000 for 3 years.

Molekule Air mini air purifier
It is designed for rooms up to up to 23 sq meters – ideal for apartments, bedrooms, and home offices. The purifier has 5 different fan speeds that can be adjusted as required. The energy consumption is between 18-53 watts, and the noise level varies between 36-62dBA, pending fan speed. It also uses a hybrid of Molekule’s Pre-Filter and PECO-Filter in a single filter.

For the uninitiated, PECO-Filter is a proprietary technology developed by the award-winning Dr. D. Yogi Goswami.

"PECO technology is capable of destroying a wide range of airborne pollutants compared to traditional air purifiers. Nokia 5.4 Android One
Nokia 5.4 Android One comes with 6.39-inch (720 x 1520 pixels) HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 400 nits typical brightness, 11nm class Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 octa-core, Adreno 610 GPU, 4GB / 6GB RAM, 64GB/ 128GB storage (expandable up to 256GB), Android 10 (will soon get Android 11), quad-camera module-- 48MP + 5MP wide-angle camera + 2MP depth sensor + 2MP for macro, a 16MP front-facing camera and a 4000mAh battery. Its price starts at Rs 13,999.

The company also unveiled Nokia 3.4 is a budget phone. It comes with a 6.39-inch HD+ (1560x720p) LCD display with up to peak brightness of 400 nits, Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 octa-core processor with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage (expandable up to 512GB via microSD), and a 4,000mAh battery. It costs 11,999.
