Swarna Srikanth writes lifestyle and trending stories. She entered journalism at 19 as a crime reporter with Mid-Day, went on to cover city events for The Indian Express, later worked with The Free Press Journal before joining Deccan Herald. She also gained experience in television production and programming through her time with B4U Network. She holds an MA in Communication and Journalism, and is into feature writing, trending and people-centric stories. She has also taught media studies to college students in Mumbai. When she isn’t writing, she is usually discussing cocktails and bar culture with mixologists, exploring new menus and restaurants, tuning into music, or checking out what’s happening around Bengaluru’s event scene.
