Parliament Highlights: Interim Budget for 2024-25 approved, both Houses adjourned till 11am tomorrow
FM Nirmala Sitharaman tabled a copy of 'White Paper on Indian economy' in Lok Sabha. Discussions in Rajya Sabha for a while veered towards farmers as Congress leaders Randeep Singh Surjwala highlighted farmer suicides and other issues even as farmers in Noida and Greater Noida earlier walked towards Delhi. Parliament completed the exercise of passing the interim Budget for 2024-25, with Rajya Sabha returning the Finance Bill 2024 and the relevant appropriation bills. In today's parliament session, farewell note was delivered by speaker and PM Modi in Rajya Sabha to retiring members. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey demanded the implementation of NRC in Jharkhand, 'save us from Bangladeshi Muslims', he said. Both the Houses have been now adjourned till 11 am tomorrow. Parliament Highlights: Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha to commence at 11 am tomorrow
