Assembly Elections 2024 Highlights: 67.99% voter turnout in Andhra by eve, 62.96% in Odisha
175 Assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh and 28 in Odisha went to polls today, in tandem with the Phase 4 Lok Sabha elections. Andhra recorded 67.99% voter turnout till 5.00 pm, while Odisha was at 62.96%. The polling in Andhra was marred by incidents of violence, with reported kidnappings of TDP polling agents and clashes in Ongole. YSRCP MLA A Siva Kumar also landed in soup after he allegedly assaulted a voter in Tenali, Guntur.
