Lockdown is not the only solution, not just in Bengaluru but in all parts of the state there will be no more lockdowns. Restrictions in containment zones will be implemented more stringently than before, says CM BS Yediyurappa. "I request with folded hands, children and those above 60 years of age not to go out," he adds.

Moderna’s vaccine, developed by researchers at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, was the first coronavirus vaccine to be tested in humans, and the company announced on Tuesday that large Phase 3 tests of it would begin on July 27, involving 30,000 people.
